            Bug ID: 512154
Summary: Solid Tooltip.svg Assets Not Used When Panel is Solid
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.5.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
When a panel is set to Opaque, solid/ assets are expected to be used. Upon
further review, when the panel is set to Opaque, the tooltip.svg is not used,
but dialog/background.svg and widgets/panel-background.svg are. This type of
problem has appeared a few times in Plasma history before.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Apply a Plasma Style that has different appearances between Opaque and
Translucent, such as Breeze (I used Sumac Day Molten Glass)
2. Set your panel Opacity to Opaque
3. Ideally against a colorful background, compare the panel to a tooltip popup

OBSERVED RESULT
Tooltip is not opaque and background is visible behind it.

EXPECTED RESULT
Tooltip should use the appropriate opaque assets.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.10.0
Kernel Version: 6.17.7-3-cachyos (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Though I have not checked, the shadow is usually forgotten here as well and may
be inheriting from the regular assets.
