I had several windows open, many of them not full-screen, so Dolphin was
intermittently visible but inactive behind them. I did not interact with
Dolphin for several minutes at least, possibly up to an hour, and during that
time I switched rapidly between several KDE appearance settings (including
Breeze, which I saw mentioned in another bug report) to fix the issue where
parts of them keep getting reset. A few minutes after doing this, I clicked
back into Dolphin (which was half-visible behind another window) and it
immediately crashed. Dolphin was in split view, with neither folder view being
a mounted directory (both were within folders I use on a very regular basis) or
anything else that I think could cause a problem, such as having a deleted
parent folder. Installation is the minimal KDE desktop environment that I set
up a few days ago after using Gnome for years, so I am unsure if this counts as
Kubuntu.
The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.
