hi,
i like it to connect my phones audio via bluetooth to the particular PC i sit
in front of at the moment, its easier then handling 3.5 i. jacks every time and
i dont have to plug off my devices from the big speakers.
But the bad software i use on Win10 and the slightly better i use on my debian
laptos miss one important thing, media control, i had it back in windows 7 but
only do to some third party tool, but in win10 the bluetooth audio sink
capabilitys are getting worse, yesterday i could close away that little window
and it kept working, now i have to let it open and cant even lock my session ;(
but thats not you, you are the solution, and that nearly perfect, you can see
what you are lisstening, switch thtough multiple apps, controll playback
position and volume, skip tracks and all that without touching the phone in my
pocket. So much better then using the build in bluetooth solutions like my car
stereo ( not regarding that i dont want to switch apps and skip around to much
while driving for safety reasons...)
but one think is much better in my car, ive got a physical play/pause button.
So please add some setting that captures the media keys (with on/off toggle and
maybe some more stuff like custom global keystroks or control command
parameters that you can fire for example using ssh)
please have a look into it so that i can play/pause the playback on my pc as
easly as on my phone, but with opt in cause sometimes someone is using my phone
while i am using the pc or the other way around. If you provide commands for
the of/on switch they could also redirected using your nice command plugin so
when i am on the couch and someone stops/starts my playback on the workstation
i not only can correct it by hitting the same butten again but also disable
further disturbance without shutting down kc completely
