Wayland not supporting it is fine as long as we can just stay on X, but... (Other things that we need that AFAIK aren't possible on Wayland are HDMI full/limited color range settings, and temporarily turning off our PS4 controller's trackpad (as an actual trackpad, letting it be used for other things in steam input) without affecting other mice/trackpads. Oh, also other xrandr things like whole-display scaling, not widget toolkit scaling, I mean changing the actual desktop resolution for things like SSAA or screenshots bigger than the monitor or using a normal size desktop on a 640x480 screen.
