Bug ID: 512748
Summary: kmymoney displays incomprehensible, false, and
permanent verification errors.
Classification: Applications
Product: kmymoney
Version First 5.2.1
Reported In:
Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
When saving the currently modified file, errors appear systematically in a
window with false information about
operations:
the sum of the splits for the "incomprehensible-ID" transaction reported on
“date” is not equal to zero.
(with a wrong french translation for "reported on" -> "signalée sur")
After a painful research (since the standard CTRL-F is not used for lookups,
but something else, and the found operations cannot be analyzed in place) of
the 1st faulty operation, it seems the operation is perfectly NORMAL
(although without category since it was already missing at input time).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I don't know : it's my historical ledger file.
OBSERVED RESULT
EVERY time the file is saved, the fscking error window is displayed with
something that's not an error.
EXPECTED RESULT
Even if it were a real error it should :
1. display a correct message
1. stop annoying me after the 1st time
