Bug ID: 512783
Summary: Add an option to import/export preferences
Classification: Applications
Product: krita
Version First 5.1.5
Reported In:
Platform: Android
OS: Android 14.x
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: Usability

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Unlike in PC, in Android it's impossible to modify the setting files of an app
directly without root. But there's no option to import and export preferences
(keyboard shortcuts, layouts etc).
If we are changing devices, or we want to move from Krita/F-Droid to Krita
Nightly or Krita/Google Play (signature is different from F-Droid's so I can't
update to it without uninstalling the F-Droid one). We need to do the settings
by hand all over again.
I wish the Krita on F-Droid will receive update (though it's 3 years already
with no update...) and benefit from this feature.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download Krita from F-Droid
2. Download another Krita version (e.g. Nightly or Google Play's version)
OBSERVED RESULT
No option to export/import preferences.
EXPECTED RESULT
We can export/import preferences.
