--- Comment #23 from Peter <[email protected]> --- Update - I have been avoiding offending apps so far but decided to launch Signal to see if anything had changed. App did launch - had mostly red colored rectangular graphic irregularities (color has varied in the past). App stabilized and signal updated messages from the past 33 days (last time I tried to launch it). In the past, sometimes it would freeze before this point. Screen looked reasonably normal and when I tried to select a specific conversation in the left sidebar, mouse / screen froze. Hard shutdown has been my only way out in the past, and is what I did today also. Just wanted to provide update. If app is unresponsive but I can still move mouse, I have been able to close app in upper right corner and continue. Most of the time on this system and today, mouse totally froze.
