This crash behavior (4-5+ times/day) astarted in the last few days. When it
happens everything seems to recover and work can contiue after clearing the
crash message.
Another issue, possibly related(?) arose yesterday ~noon - the first time I
have ever seen it --"notify cannot be used, reverting to polling: Too many open
files”? I increased the limits and that error has not repeated this morning.

This computer is running a relatively new upgrade to Trixie from Bookworm

I suspect this may issue have been caused by an upgrade?
