--- Comment #27 from Nathaniel Phelps-Mcpherson <[email protected]> ---
Also affected here on Arch Linux.

Spectacle: 6.5.3
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel: 6.17.9-arch1-1
Plasma: 6.5.3
WM: KWin (Wayland)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT / 7800 XT (amdgpu)
Resolution: 2560x1440
Clipboard manager: none (Klipper not running)

Configured Spectacle to "Copy image to clipboard" after capture.
Also configured to save JPG to a folder at 100% compression quality
Trigger rectangular-region screenshots via keyboard shortcut

Behavior:
Small rectangular regions paste reliably
Large regions that cover most or all of the screen often fail:
  - Spectacle shows the notification that the image was copied
  - Pasting in target apps results in nothing
  - Dragging from notification into window has no image data

If I capture a small region on the same monitor, or on a lower resolution
monitor then it is successfully copied to my clipboard.

Running `spectacle --version` prints:

spectacle 6.5.3
