Bug ID: 512962
Summary: Applying new mount point does not change type in
/etc/fstab
Classification: Applications
Product: partitionmanager
Version First 25.08.3
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
When a filesystem is converted (in my case using `btrfs-convert`, KDE partition
manager doesn't change the type in `/etc/fstab`.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a partition (in my case ext4)
2. Convert it to btrfs (`btrfs-convert /dev/sda1`)
3. It fails to automount, and won't mount in Dolphin. Check `/etc/fstab`, and
it still says ext4.
OBSERVED RESULT
When I change the mount point the type does not change.
EXPECTED RESULT
When I change the mount point it should change the type as well.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: Garuda linux using hyprland, but tested with KDE as well.
