SUMMARY
The Places sidebar in the file selection dialog for directory selection does
not resize properly. Sometimes, for certain dialog-window sizes, it opens with
weird dimensions too.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the "Choose a directory" dialog.
- Kate -> "Open Folder..." action will do
2. Try resizing the Places sidebar
- You might need to enable the Places sidebar in the settings beforehand
OBSERVED RESULT
- See the video. I can't explain better than that.
EXPECTED RESULT
- Similar to what the Places sidebar does in Dolphin
