Please add a user-visible option in System Settings → Notifications to hide or
disable the visual timeout progress bar shown at the bottom of notification
popups. Some users prefer clean notifications without the animated countdown
indicator, while still keeping popup notifications enabled.
Details:
- Plasma 6 notification popups include a horizontal progress bar showing the
remaining display time.
- There is currently no setting to disable or hide only this element.
- The bar can be visually distracting, and users may want popups without the
countdown animation.
- Having a toggle would improve customization and accessibility.
Request:
Provide an option (per-user, global) such as:
“Hide timeout progress bar in notification popups.”
