Since plugging device automatically triggers KIO there's no chance to use any
other app for it, never, ever. I think rational expectation is to have a way to
disable auto-mount of specific MTP device or all MTP devices. There's Device
Auto-Mount setting already but it seems to do nothing for MTP devices for some
reason.

This isn't solution because apps need whole device access, not particular file
or folder. Calibre already supports XDG desktop portal but there's no file open
dialog involved when it access mtp device.
