It was marked as NEEDSINFO because you filed it for Application Menu (also known as kicker), and Nate confirmed that it also happens in Application Launcher (also known as kickoff). I fixed it in Application Launcher, but could not reproduce it in Application Menu. That's why I asked in comment #2 whether this report actually applied to Application Menu, or if you filed it under the wrong component.
