Photomechanic screenshot showing feature in action.
FEATURE REQUEST in icon view: the ability to show the distance of a geolocated
photo from a determined "home" point. Attached is a screenshot example of
this from Photomechanic -
thumbnails display: filename / Capture date (with seconds) / keywords / file
size / pixel dimensions / DISTANCE FROM "HOME" POINT, WITH NAME.
In this use case the home point is the center of the Los Angeles Thirty Mile
Studio Zone ("TMZ") and the distance from that point is relevant to union
mandated film production costs. I can imagine this could be helpful in other
cases as well. Thanks
