I was already wondering why my selection often "disappeared", because I made it a habit of always selecting the system monitor process in the system monitor's process table. Now it regularly disappears from view, because it's not in the top 11 most CPU-using processes, which never happened before! :D So yes, the bug is definitely fixed, finally.
