BTW the German wording for error message is "Konsole wurde gestartet bevor die Desktop-Effekte aktiviert waren. Sie müssen Konsole neu starten, damit der Hintergrund transparent wird." ("Konsole was started before desktop effects became effective. You need to restart konsole to make background become transparent.") ... which is strange because konsole is showing transparent background totally fine.
