However, it doesn't quite explain why 5.2.15 works perfectly well on the same systems. I'm going to check the Intel machines with the same setups and figure out why 5.3.0-alpha is working on those machines. I don't have anything of Krita 6 on any system. We don't do dev work on production boxes. My guess is that on those boxes, there may be python-pyqt5 and python-pyqt5-sip, but perhaps not python-pyqt6 and/or python-pyqt6-sip. Could it be that 5.3.0 isn't calling on pyqt5 explicitly and is therefore defaulting to pyqt6?
