I'd like to clarify the difference between them so we can investigate and fix both of them cleanly. Both are describing the symptom of the Discover GUI not appearing when the icon is clicked, but there are different things going on under the hood. This bug had discussed the Snap and KNS backends. Bug 513569 is about the GUI not starting if the flatpak backend is passed before the fwupd backend. Snap is not involved. Let's keep this bug focused on Snap and KNS. Let's also keep things respectful and friendly. Thanks.
