I looked into this again, and found the actual cause of the problem: The shader
clipped in the wrong place.
The merge request fixes that, but there's another thing, which makes the shader
only clip to much higher values than it should, if you have EDR enabled (even
while it's not doing anything). I still need to fix that separately.
