yes. and I can provide more details.

1) With nothing in clipboard, open Audacity with any file. Select part of the
file, Copy. Note that it doesn't get populated into the clipboard icon/history
in the system tray. You can freely paste the selected item, switch to another
application, get Audacity back into focus and copy again.
2) However, if you have anything else in the clipboard, be it text, image or
file, the above ONLY works while Audacity is in focus. If you copy something,
then switch to another app, and back to Audacity - the contents of the
clipboard seems to be gone and Audacity will attempt (and fail) to paste
whatever contents you have in Clipboard.

I checked it with both EXTRA package and AppImage.
