--- Comment #72 from [email protected] --- Hi Gilles, I'm currently using the Weekly from the 16th. Since the version of the 14th, Digikam seemed to be stable again. Even if the program window only opened on the left side of the screen after starting. The fact is, I have been able to use the program well over the past few days. This morning I started my computer normally and wanted to look for a picture. I then started Digikam, just as usual. But what happened now? Digikam unexpectedly opened its program window in the middle of the screen, did not display a scan at the bottom right and crashed. The program also showed the same behavior during 3 further test startup attempts. Then I restarted my computer again. Then start Digikam. Digikam opened its window at first try in the middle and actually showed a scan in the bottom right. It remained stable so far and I was able to use the program as usual. When Digikam was started again later, the program window opened again at the very left edge of the screen, but luckily it also showed the scan and remained stable. I will continue to try out the next weekly ones. But I'm slowly running out of ideas or guesses as to what could be causing this strange program behavior. However, I only have a little time to go into this further.
