In the KDE Discuss forum a few members, me included, have indicated that, a
"nice to have" would be that KInfoCenter and "kinfo" also display the installed
KDE Gear version.

As noted in the Forum Post, we know that the KDE Gear version is displayed when
the "--version" option is used when calling any KDE Gear application from a
