The applet stops updating randomly and never starts updating again until
"Apply" is clicked from the Properties dialog.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Only observed in the following environment:
1. Vertical panel
2. Computer gets hibernated at least once a day
3. NetworkManager active
4. An USB modem on interface ppp0 with usb_modeswitch connected all the
time/replugged occasionally
5. USB RNDIS network gadget + modem (actually phone) attached occasionally
6. Occasionally changing Docker and Virt-Manager interfaces
Actual Results:
Updates cease sometimes
Expected Results:
Network graph never stops updating
