Bug ID: 515030
Summary: kmenuedit does not offer to move 'favorites' downward,
or edit 'favorites' content.
Classification: Applications
Product: kmenuedit
Version First 6.5.5
Reported In:
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Due to some other issue within the display of menu items in kickoff, I am
unable to move applications into 'favorites'. I have created a separate menu
directory 'my favorites' which works correctly, but I cannot move the
'favorites' from the top of the displayed kickoff categories within kmenuedit -
because it is not even displayed as a category. And of course, I can't
add/delete/copy items within the category.
It would also be nice to have some way to to move" down or hide "all
applications" downwards as well. The actual location of the 'favorites' list
(outside of the standard menu file) is a mystery to me as well.
