https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Backlight#Recent_(2025)_AMD_changes mention
the fix for brightness issue, it was an kernel change done by AMD, not a MESA
bug as even someone replied to the issue I opened in their issue tracker. The
GPU issue remains unfixed, feel free to close this issue and I will open new
one for the GPU.

On atomic distros (kinoite and silverblue) type this command in terminal

sudo rpm-ostree kargs --append='amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x40000'

wait till it is done and shows a message to “systemctl reboot”…

Then type in terminal

systemctl reboot

Try now moving brightness slider in your operating system and it should work!

If someone is using the normal (non-atomic) distro and this kernel arguement
fixed their issue, please provide steps for others as I only know for atomic
distros.
