Okay, the problem happens because vector shapes are never rendered outside the
image bounds, only inside of it. But raster layers don't have to be rendered
outside image bounds.

Exactly the same problem happens if we put a raster layer into a group (and add
one more empty layer into the group to avoid optimizations), then add this
style to the group. The result will also be "curved".

I'm not sure if that should be called a bug or not though.
