Backtrace of plasmashell crash after selecting "Concentric Circles" display
style in Memory Usage widget.

DESCRIPTION

On openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma 6 running on Wayland, selecting the
“Concentric Circles” display style in the Memory Usage widget causes Plasma
Desktop to crash.
In addition, when this display style is selected, the “Total sensors” section
incorrectly allows only a single selection, unlike other display styles where
multiple sensors can be selected.

The issue does not occur on openSUSE Leap 16 with the same widget, suggesting a
Plasma 6 / Wayland / Qt 6 regression or compatibility issue.

SUMMARY

Plasma crashes when selecting “Concentric Circles” display style in Memory
Usage widget on Wayland; additionally, “Total sensors” becomes incorrectly
single-select only for this display style.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Log in to a KDE Plasma 6 Wayland session.
2. Add the Memory Usage widget to the desktop or panel.
3. Open the widget configuration.
4. Under Display Style, select Concentric Circles.
5. (Optional but relevant) Navigate to Total sensors and attempt to select
multiple sensors.

OBSERVED RESULT

Plasmashell crashes immediately after selecting the “Concentric Circles”
display style.
The desktop session restarts automatically. Total sensors selection does not
permit more than one selection, which othre display styles do.

EXPECTED RESULT

1. Selecting Concentric Circles should not crash Plasma Desktop.
2. The Total sensors section should allow multiple selections, consistent with
other display styles.
3. Widget behaviour should be consistent across display styles.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20260126
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.18.7-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland (XWayland enabled)
Graphics Processor: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The same widget and configuration does not crash Plasma on openSUSE Leap 16.
Issue appears specific to Plasma 6 + Wayland.
Likely related to QML / model handling differences in the “Concentric Circles”
display style.
