KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a feature request. I am not sure if Qt allows `onmouse{over|hover}`
blur effects or not, but if it is possible to add another option to background
to blur when a hover event happens, it would be epic.

I like having multiple widgets on my desktop to track both Fahrenheit and
Celsius. GIF backgrounds have moving images, so a mouse{over|hover} event to
blur would be helpful for my niche use case, perhaps "adaptive blur" would be
the name of the option, or "hover blur". maybe it is a couple lines of code and
easy to implement and other users decide it is awesome, maybe it is hard and
not worth the trouble. not sure how many have configured their desktop like
mine, we are all quite niche tbh.

i haven't used the Qt toolkit to program in a long time so I don't know what
kind of patch I could make.

if it is simple (or a fun puzzle to solve) please implement my request, if not,
I completely understand. if I end up caring so much I will find the source
code and force it to do what I want or be lazy and thankful you made a widget
that mostly does what I want

added screencast to show how it is hard to see sometimes and easy others...
