The side panel with the buttons/icons will not resize to any sensible width.
At present it has a fixed minimum that is too wide. This needs to be narrower
and have the buttons wrap to take up the empty space beneath it (which there is
too much of)
I also cannot get it to redock as a horizontal toolbar either.
