I had exactly same problem (and it was driving me crazy). My fullscreen windows
(mostly video players, including web ones) were invisible/transparent after
wake up while still grabbing input (being focused). Sometimes I also had issue
where active windows wasn't top one (was placed behind inactive one) and it was
also infuriating (because it was not visible, but it was receiving all keyboard
input; also clicking on window to make it active was sending it to the
background).

I've tested and I can confirm that disabling Slide Back effect fixes this
issue!!

If it is to late to fix this issue in 6.6 I would seriously consider to disable
this effect completely because issue it causes is severe and hard to pinpoint
to its source.

Thanks for all good work! KDE/Plasma is somehow getting more awesome with each
release and I've been using it since at least version 2.2 :).
