            Bug ID: 515363
Summary: i-screen mode when konsole works on virtual screen,
starting new application from konsole causes that its
                    window appears on main screen
    Classification: Applications
           Product: konsole
      Version First 25.12.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I connected gogle VR , and used WivRn server (running on PC) + WivRn client
(running on headset) + wayvr (running on PC) to stream desktop(s). On new,
streamed screen I start konsole, where I start any application - I tested with
mplayer. Unfortunately it's window appears on main screen instead of new
streamed screen, so I need to manually move it to new screen.
I suppose good substitute to test could be also connecting with a projector or
even TV.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect gogle VR and run WivRn server (on PC) + WivRn client on headset +
wayvr to stream desktop(s)
I think good substitute could be connect projector or TV via HDMI or USB3 (I
didn't test this with Plasma 6)
2. on new streamed/virtual screen run konsole
3. in running konsole run any application, I tested with mplayer

OBSERVED RESULT
Window of application is shown on main screen, when konsole is working on
streamed/virtual screen

EXPECTED RESULT
Window of application should be shown on the same screen, where konsole works

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.91
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
System: neon Testing Edition (updates from 30/01/2026, so KDE/Plasma 6.6 Beta
2)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Tested with ver. 25.12.2 (not specified in "Version First Reported In" field)
My set-up is as following:
laptop + external monitor, which is main screen, and built-in screen is usually
not active.
