Oh yeah there wasn't any line breaks. That indeed makes KWrite incredibly slow and laggy. You can reproduce it: 1. Copy some large text like https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular.js/1.8.3/angular.js 2. Paste it in https://www.base64encode.org/ to convert to base64 3.
