Thanks for the praise.

Often we aren't conscious of why we are making a decision till we verbalize it.
We go on auto-pilot.

And you only need to reframe the situation more explicitly. Not to convince,
but to make the nature of the belief clear.


Example:

"I want to keep my software as modular as possible, unattached of anything
Wayland specific"

"Do you mean this will include situations where the behavior would be broken
too?"
