--- Comment #16 from Talya <[email protected]> --- okay, the bug has gotten even weirder now... Elisa now refuses to output to speakers, outputting only to the headphone jack, despite having been started when the headphones were not connected. in fact, even after rebooting that continues to be the case, even when the headphones were never connected since the last boot. trying to switch in the applet isn't available. trying to switch in the settings does nothing, and after closing the settings app and reopening it, the setting for Elisa resets to headphone jack. there's other audio weirdness. the panel's audio applet shows the speakers volume at 50%, yet pressing volume up/down on the keyboard shows the volume at 100%, and the volume feedback isn't heard. changing the volume from the panel applet shows the correct volume (50%) for a moment, but then the popup immediately resets to 100. that 100% doesn't seem to represent anything, as when i plug the headphones the volume of 10% is remembered, and the keyboard's volume up/down now correctly affects that volume. with the headphones connected, selecting in the applet "play all audio through this device" on the speakers, not headphones, makes the speakers disappear and only the headphones appear. disconnecting headphones, there's no audio output option at all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
