Web Browser Widget
Unable to access LAN / Intranet page using Web Browser widget due to policy re:
self signed cert.
Fair call this is a feature request and probably inside a QT component
QtWebEngine. I can workaround using virtual desktops and a Firefox window.
Apologies if this needs to be closed straight away. I made a feature request
post at:
https://discuss.kde.org/t/feat-req-can-webbrowserwidget-please-possibly-have-a-preference-or-setting-to-ignore-self-signed-cert-warnings-in-qtwebengine-re-err-cert-authority-invalid/44076
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click desktop to enter edit mode
2. Click button to add widget
3. Choose Web Browser Widget and try to set to page with self signed secure
cert
OBSERVED RESULT
Page display is blocked due to strict policy to deny self signed certs.
Arguably a good thing.
EXPECTED RESULT
A way to create exception for the widget instance.
