I have this problem but only when taking the 2nd recording from an existing
launch of spectacle. no error appears in the log - I only receive the "Failed
to export video" line (see below)

NOTE THAT spectacle behaves normally for the duration of the existing process
if you CHANGE THE VIDEO FORMAT setting and do not quit the application (i.e. I
can save as many videos as I want using the steps below WITHOUT error). in
order to observe the issue as described below, I have launch a fresh instance
of the spectacle process WITHOUT changing video formats.

I have spectacle set to "take rectangular screenshot" on launch

steps to reproduce:

launch spectacle
select new recording -> window
select a dolphin window to record
left click in the taskbar to let spectacle finish the recording

observe that this video has saved normally and the spectacle window has
appeared to show you the recorded video

now, again select new record -> window
select the same dolphin window to record
left click in the taskbar to let spectacle finish the recording

observe "Failed to export video: Temporary file URL must be an existing local
file" error
