Thanks for the bug report. The files not being able to be transferred is due to
file naming limitations on Android. The user experience, however, could be
improved as you suggest.

I tested the behavior on current versions of Plasma and Dolphin:

Plasma 6.5.5 / Dolphin 25.12.2 - The file transfer notification appears. There
is a message on the Android device that the transfer failed. The Plasma
notification persists on the screen with the progress bar at 0%. The user must
click Cancel to dismiss it.

git-master - The file transfer notification appears. There is a message on the
Android device that the transfer failed. The Plasma notification says "Sending
to devicename (Finished)" and is automatically dismissed after a timeout. This
is arguably worse, because it falsely says the transfer finished, when it
failed.

We definitely could, at the least, surface an error to the notification.
Being able to transfer files that don't error out would also be preferable.
