--- Comment #1 from Tirifto <[email protected]> --- Update: I have since restarted my computer, which fixed the issue. Recently, after several days, the issue has reappeared. It seems like terminating the process ‘akonadi_imap_resource’ (which appeared to be automatically restarted) fixed it immediately; KMail now checks for new mail on demand. This is more like a situational workaround, though.
