Dolphin is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. It's possible that the bug only exists in 23.08.5, and I see the problem doesn't happen on another system with Kubuntu 24.04. Your options at this point are to either update Dolphin, or to contact Kubuntu for support for your existing install.
