--- Comment #13 from Uwe Dippel <[email protected]> ---
I tried with yet another source file that crashes kdenlive; in this case
AppImage 25.12.2.
Also here, it is 100 percent reproducible. I haven't found much a about debug
features, but maybe the last few hundred lines before the crash can give an
indication?
I attach a file containing those lines, hoping for the best. In this case,
kdenlive (all versions that I have) crashes once the content of the project bin
is dragged into the time line. And once again, the source plays perfectly well
with Dragon, VLC, ... .

The workaround can almost be considered funny: Dragging the file into the time
line, and quickly, without any edits, render it. Then the first, upper, render
task is started, and it does go through, despite kdenlive having crashed only a
few seconds after shooting off the rendering job. And the results of these jobs
are all okay.
Once all files exist, created one after the other, I can load these separate
files into a new kdenlive session, group the tracks, and edit the project
without any problem in the time line.
