Split views, both in different folders, details view 2. Click on split 1 to select a file 3. Click on split 2 to select another file 4. Open new tab 5. Go back to the split view tab 6. Press delete The last active item, file in split 2, gets deleted. If I do steps 2 and 3 in reverse order, the selected file in split 1 gets deleted as expected.
