This seems to be breaking VPN-based setups which use 100.64.0.0/10 (not a public range, but reserved for carrier-grade NAT). There's two potential fixes here: remove the check for local IPs or either include the range 100.64.0.0/10 in the valid ranges and hope that this works for all/most setups. Because I would like to keep the check in place, I'll do the second and release version 1.35.3.
