Summary: Flickering when hovering over text with a transparent
title bar
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First 6.6.0
Reported In:
Platform: Neon
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Using "Window Decorations" theme with transparent title bar like: "Se7enAero"
or "We10OS-dark", I experience very annoying flickering when it (title bar) is
placed over any test (for example in web browser - I tested with Firefox and
Kate), and it stops after couple seconds.
Please notice that when I minimize and restore any application and its titlebar
is placed over text then I don't observe any flickering.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open "System Setting -> Color & Themes -> Window Decorations"
2. Click "Get New.." button
3. Find one of mentioned themes, for example "We10OS-dark"
4. Apply it
5. Open Firefox with page where is a bit of text or Kate/KWrite and open any
text document
6. Open Dolphin or any other application
7. Move Dolphin or any other application over Firefox or Kate/Kwrite like that
title bar would be over displayed text in above application
OBSERVED RESULT
Flickering in title bar which stops after couple seconds.
EXPECTED RESULT
Transparency should work as expected
