Duncan <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #4 from Duncan <[email protected]> --- So AFAIK, KDE apps like gwenview normally locate the status-bar (if they have one) toggle menu entry on the settings menu, and indeed, that's where it is on gwenview (26.03.70 version reported... I'm on live-git but haven't updated in a couple weeks) too. GTK apps, OTOH, don't normally /have/ a settings menu (some have configuration...), and put the status-bar toggle (if they have one) on the view menu, where they seem to put various panel toggles, etc, as well. Their settings dialog entries (prefs...), meanwhile, often appear on the edit menu. So the next question is now that you know it's on settings (which you didn't mention despite mentioning the F3 hotkey, so presumably you didn't know), is that fine, or do you believe it should be on the view menu instead (probably not, it's a kde app not a gtk app, and most kde users will expect it on settings) or as well (possibly, tho having it on both might be confusing too)? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
