I can see the same happening on my laptop, though there ksystemstats doesn't
linger. Normally speaking, ksystemstats should shutdown automatically when
there are no more connections, which is probably what's happening on my
machine.

That of course doesn't answer why there's a bunch of session processes still
running in the first place. Can you check with `systemctl --user` and see if
you get a bunch of session services that are still running?
