                    of Range" occurs

SUMMARY
I accidentally set a resolution that exceeded my monitor's capabilities
(1920x780 on a 1366x768 screen). The monitor immediately displayed an "Out of
Range" error message (black screen).
Unlike other operating systems (e.g., Windows), the system did not
automatically revert to the previous working resolution after a timeout. Since
I could not see the screen to click "Revert", the bad resolution was applied
permanently.
Worse, upon rebooting, the Login Manager (SDDM) attempted to force this invalid
resolution again, locking me out of the graphical session completely. I had to
use a TTY to fix it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings > Display and Monitor.
2. Change resolution to a mode not supported by the monitor (e.g., 1920x780 on
a 1366x768 native screen).
3. Apply settings.

OBSERVED RESULT
The monitor displays "Out of Range" (black screen). No automatic revert occurs.
The system saves this invalid configuration permanently, forcing the user to
use TTY or a recovery mode to fix it.

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Immediate Revert: If the monitor cannot display the forced resolution, the
system must revert to the previous settings automatically.
2. Boot Failsafe: If the monitor cannot display the forced resolution at boot,
KScreen should fall back to a safe default (native resolution) instead of
rendering a black screen indefinitely.
