Bug ID: 516336
Summary: user settings not synced or effective
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasma-login-manager
Version First 6.6.0
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I have replaced sddm with plasma-login-manager (systemctl disable sddm;
systemctl enable plasma-login).
It works but after syncing settings from a logged in plasma session I find that
this is not effective, either something is not being synced or it is being
synced but somehow not applied.
Specifically I find that the display configuration and the theme are not what
they should be. Instead of Breeze Dark I see plain Breeze, and the layout of
the monitors with respect to each other is all wrong.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install plasma-login-manager, disable sddm and enable plasmalogin
2. reboot, login and sync settings from KCM
3. reboot again
OBSERVED RESULT
Theme and display configuration are different from the users plasma session.
EXPECTED RESULT
Theme and display configuration are exactly the same as in the users plasma
session.
