Bug ID: 516448
Summary: 6.6.0 randomly freezes without recovery
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.6.0
Reported In:
Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: critical
Priority: NOR
Component: Activities in general

Target Milestone: 1.0
SUMMARY
I have updated the plasma to the latest release (6.6.0) and now I am getting
whole system freezes at the random times.
The system got stuck fully: no mouse movement, no keyboard answers, no display
changes no ssh connection available. It like gets frozen: the audio disappears
(just stops, not loops over) and the display picture just freezes (no black
screen, nothing. Just freezes in one state)
For now, the system stuck is pretty random, I have not found out the pattern,
when it gets stuck.
What I have tried to do:
- Update bios to the latest version (no change)
- Open the KSystemLog on the second monitor and wait for the freeze (have
noticed no fatal error or something when the system freezes)
