Bug Exapmle with Dolphin
SUMMARY
The right click context menu is displayed in the wrong location when more than
50% of an application window is spanned between multiple monitors. The Y
location is inline with the mouse but the X location is on the wrong monitor.
PER-REQUISITE
1. Have two monitors
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin (or any application really)
2. Resize the window so that it can span two monitors
3. Drag the window so that 50% of it is on one monitor or the other
4. Right click anywhere within the window
OBSERVED RESULT
The monitor that contains more of the window will display the context menu. The
menu will be displayed at the border of this monitor at the proper height but
with the horizontal position shifted from the mouse location
EXPECTED RESULT
Context menus in Dolphin are displayed under the mouse pointer on the
appropriate monitor. The context menu on the title bar displays at the correct
location
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I did my best to search for any duplicates of my issue but I didn't find one
that matched what I'm seeing. I apologize if a ticket (closed or open) already
exists for this issue. Additionally since this issue seems to happen with all
application windows I didn't know exactly which category it belonged under
